Self catering touring caravan site on Scotlands West Coast, great facilities, rural location, electric hook up, showers
Our site is situated on Scotland's west coast, opposite the Isle of Skye, on the A87, 2 miles west of the junction with the A960 and just 4 miles east of the bridge to the Isle of Skye crossing, now toll free. Additional amenities adjacent to the site include:- a Spar mini market with sub-post office, off-licence & gift shop hotel bar (please note we are not connected with this business) Loch Alsh (rocky beach) forest walks both short & long adjacent to the site. Ideal for dog owners, their pets & walkers in general
On site amenities - 36 electrical hook-ups (10 amp, 230 volt supply), drain for motor caravan's waste water and chemical disposal point. In addition 34 hard standings are on site - in wet weather motor caravans have priority on these. 40 pitches are available for touring caravans and motor homes. However the site is unsuitable for motorcaravans longer than 7.5 m / 24ft. Unfortunately we have only a few pitches available for small tents

Specialities
Awnings are not permitted during July & August, and are discouraged during May, June & September only being allowed for a maximum of 4 nights on the same pitch. We only permit small tents (i.e. ones you cannot stand up in) for a maximum of four days on the same pitch. Trailer or frame tents & large/medium tents aren't permitted.

Directions
From Fort William take the A82 to Invergarry and turn left onto the A87 for Kyle of Lochalsh. From Inverness take the A82 to Invermoriston and turn right onto the A887 for Kyle. From Gairloch take the A832 to the Achnasheen roundabout and turn right on the A890 for Kyle of Lochalsh. Travel to Skye over the Skye Road Bridge free of charge - tolls were abolished on 21st December 2004
