A warm welcome awaits you on our 1200 acre farm. Set next to a stunning Loch which is ideal for fishing and walks around the waters side. Stroneskar provided a wonderful holiday home for all with either the option to unwind and look at the views with a good book and a drink or to go adventuring around the farms extensive land and explore the local villages.

Stroneskar is 1.5 miles from Ford village, which has a village hall and church. It lies at the south end of Loch Awe, renowned for fishing and the start of forest trails and walks. Kilmartin is 3 miles and has a good shop, post office, museum with cafe, hotel, restaurant, church and garage. Lochgilphead - 12 miles. Oban - 30 miles.

Tigh-a-Charnain's accommodation comprises: Large living room with log fire or electric and Sky TV, 2 double and 1 twin bedroom. Attractively furnished, bathroom and dining/kitchen with electric heaters throughout. Pets welcome by arrangement. Linen hire on request. Our 6 berth caravan is also available.

Good supply of books and games for wet days. There is plenty to do on the farm - walking, pike fishing, birds, wildlife and archaeological sites, also a good touring base
