The Tool Shed bedroom is accessed by a beautiful spiral staircase and balustrade in solid white ash

The lounge areas offer comfortable seating, great for relaxing and settling down with a good book.

Fordhead Self Catering Cottages - Kippen

Three traditional stone cottages situated on our working farm on the banks of the River Forth

Fordhead Farm overlooks the Fords of Frew on the River Forth only nine miles west of Stirling in Central Scotland. Fordhead Farm is situated just one mile from the picturesque village of Kippen with its historic buildings and lovely traditional pubs and restaurants. We are also located within easy reach of Stirling, The Trossachs, Glasgow and Edinburgh making this the ideal base for a touring holiday.

Our three cottages enjoy a tranquil location and provide ample opportunity for a stroll down the riverbank, where you are welcome to try your hand at trout fishing. There is a small private garden attached to the accommodation, providing a safe place for children to play or a spot in which to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Inside the cottage there is a comfortable lounge equipped with colour TV and video. The kitchen is fitted to the highest standard and includes an electric oven, dishwasher and microwave.

Rooms Description

Fordhead Cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms that can be configured as double or twin rooms. The Granary can accomodate four to five guests whilst The Toolshed can sleep two.
