Self Catering Cottage Set In Lochside Location On The Island Of Bernera On The West Coast Of Lewis
Three bedroom detached holiday cottage on the Island of Bernera approximatley 25 miles from Stornaway. The cottage sleeps five people making it ideal for families. Well behaved pets are welcome. The Island is accessed via road bridge from Lewis and there is ample opportunities for walking, fishing, golfing & sailing on the island plus more adventurous water sports and climbing. Golden eagles fly over the area and there are dolphins, seals and occasionally whales to be spotted also. There is also the beautiful Bostadh Beach with it's Iron Age Fort.
The holiday cottage offers spacious and bright living accommodation with a well equipped, modern kitchen & bathroom. To the exterior, there is a large decked area giving extensive views of the Loch and surrounding countryside. For the children, there is a playhouse in the garden and for rainy days there is a large collection of DVD's, books & games at the cottage. There is ample storage space at the cottage including a garage. The village offers all the neccessary amenities such as shop, post office & petrol station and are within walking distance of the cottage
