Ardara (Beag) is a self catering semi-detached cottage at Clachan Seil, less than a mile from the famous Atlantic Bridge. Rated 2 Stars by he Scottish Tourist Board, this peaceful holiday home enjoys a secluded location surrounded by panoramic views. Seil is an ideal location for a Highland holiday. You can walk, fish, sail, study wild life, visit remote islands or just enjoy the peace and tranquility.

From the hill behind the Adara cottage you can experience a fantastic panoramic view which is one of the finest in the country. The area is rich in wildlife with otters, badgers, deer and dolphins and many raptors regularly sighted. The area has an abundance of walks t enjoy at all levels and sailing and boat trips for fishing or diving can be arranged. Day visits to Mull and other islands are available. Ardara means the height of good gifts. The adjacent cottage Ardara (mhor) is the home of Maura and Robert Rae who will do all they can to make your holiday a success.

Rooms Description

Accommodation at Adara Cottage is on a self atering basis and comprises: Double Bedroom, Bedroom with single and two bunk beds. Convertible settee provides a further two beds. Shower. Utility room. Fully equipped kitchen. Lounge/dining room with a beautiful view over the sound of Seil, and a small garden to the south. There is a small hut for bicycles or diving gear. There is a comprehensive shop at Balvicar and pub with good food nearby. There is a natural garden, rich in herbs and wild flowers, trees and shrubs. Some 20 species of birds regularly visit the garden.
