Lovely Spacious House And 3 Charming Self Catering Cottages Available, Gatehouse Of Fleet
Rusko Holidays offer secluded, traditional self catering cottages set amid magnificent Scottish scenery in the heart of one of Scotland's National Scenic Areas. The cottages are just six miles away from the historic town of Gatehouse of Fleet and ideally located close to lovely safe sandy beaches, lochs, hills, sub tropical gardens, golf courses and many places of historical interest. Even Edinburgh, Glasgow, Arran and Northern Ireland are within reach for a day trip.
There is a large holiday house and three charming cottages to choose from, some of which are suitable for less abled guests. All of the cottages are located on a private estate on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. Amenities on the estate include an all weather tennis court and loch and river fishing, tuition is available. Stabling and grazing is also available for your own horse.
Rooms Description
Garden Cottage is a well equipped Victorian cottage sleeping four. The accommodation is all on the ground floor and has a Visit Scotland Category 3 Award (access for visitors with mobility difficulties). Upper Rusko Cottage is a spacious and well equipped house sleeping between four and six people and has four star Visit Scotland status. Rusko House is wheelchair accessible and sleeps between ten and twelve people. Woodhead Cottage is a secluded woodland hideaway sleeping two to four people and is ideal for honeymooners. All accommodation is well equipped with colour TV, video, microwave and outdoor furniture.

Some accommodation is suitable for visitors with limited mobility, please enquire when booking. We try to accommodate as many special needs as possible, with help from the local Social Work Department, who lend us special equipment when we need it.

Directions
We are just over the Border with England, 1½ hours from Carlisle and 2 hours from the Lake District, 4 hours from Manchester or Leeds, 2 ½ hours from Edinburgh and Glasgow (making a day trip a very real possibility) and only 7 hours from London (it takes 14 hours to get to the Highlands!). Once here, you'll find that our quiet country roads make driving a pleasure while the A75, which carries surprisingly little traffic, makes getting from one end of the Region to the other a piece of cake!
