Pitcairlie Holiday Apartments are set within a 120 acre estate of woods, streams, parklands and two ornamental lakes. Pitcairlie is a 16th century castle offering self catering holiday accommodation near St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. The grounds are home to a wide variety of wildlife, magnificent trees and wildflowers and the parklands are grazed by Highland cattle, sheep, horses and a donkey. The apartments are located just two miles from Auchtermuchty and six miles away from the medieval village of Falkland, home to Falkland Palace.

Pitcairlie's central location is ideal for rambling, hillwalking and exploring the East Neuk of Fife, with its sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. There are around forty golf courses with ten to sixty minutes travel, including the world famous links courses at Canoustie and the old course in St Andrews. Each cottage has been awarded four stars by Visit Scotland and guests are welcome to use our heated indoor swimming pool.

Rooms Description

The cottages sleep 2 to 6 guests individually or 21 if all properties are combined. We offer 4 self catering apartments in Pitcairlie House and 1 detached holiday cottage in the converted former lodge house. All properties are equipped with digital television, DVD, stereo, radio, and CD / cassette player. A video recorder is available on request. Our fully fitted kitchens are equipped with oven, hob, microwave, extractor fan, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, etc.

Specialities

One pet dog is permitted at the lodge, two at our discretion. Prices include use of the swimming pool and the sauna. All properties have garden furniture and have access to a shared barbecue.
