We offer family run self catering chalets, lodges and cottages tucked away in Lerags Glen, just two and a half miles south of the seaside town of Oban. For families, our playpark and child friendly ducks and chickens are great for youngsters. For our regular winter divers The Barn (our country pub on site) is a huge attraction. For spring fishermen our hill loch's challenging brown trout lead to many fishy tales over a pint. For walkers and pet owners we've endless waymarked forest trails over the hills and plenty of facilities to dry out afterwards!

With 15 lodges, 4 chalets, Cruachan Cottage and Cologin Farmhouse we have accommodation to suit couples, families, those with pets and senior citizens. Our accommodation is graded 3 and 4 star ('very good' and 'excellent') by Visit Scotland. Our one bedroom chalets sleep between one and three people, the two bedroom lodges sleep between two and six people and Cologin Farmhouse sleeps 10 adults and up to 15 including children in ensuite bedrooms.

Rooms Description

The one bedroom chales have either a double, k/s or twin beds and all properties can take a third person for a couple of nights on the fixed sofa bed in the living area. The two bedroom lodges have a standard layout of one double and one twin bedroom plus your choide of a double sofa bed or two fixed single bench sofas to sleep up to 6 people. Cruachan cottage has a large king size bedroom and the Farmhouse has five huge bedrooms, 2 of which are ensuite and 2 with private bathrooms. The family room also has a wash hand basin and bunk beds. The farmhouse will sleep up to 15 people but we restrict this to 10 adults as this is the maximum we can seat around the dinging room table. There is an additional kitchen table to seat 6 so if you are a family group with kids the farmhouse is ideal. Open log fires and wood burning stoves in Cruachan and the Farmhouse. Traditional Esse stove plus all mod cons in the Farmhouse (including ice maker, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, gas hob and oven), private south facing patios for both Cruachan and the Farmhouse and fully fenced south facing gardens.

Specialities

We offer child friendly accommodation. Pets are welcome in some of the properties. All properties are non smoking. We have a BT Openzone hot spot for wifi internet access in our country pub on site - The Barn. We also offer free fishing on our trout loch in the hills with free boat and rod hire for residents at Cologin.
