Seabank Self Catering Farmhouse - Benderloch
Large 5 bedroom farmhouse on the shore of Loch Creran. Stunning sea and mountain views.
Seabank is a large five bedroom farmhouse superbly situated on the shores of Loch Creran near Oban. The house is set in 130 acres of grounds and is the ideal place for a get away from it all break. There is a wildlife reserve adjacent to the grounds and Roe deer, badgers and otters can be seen regularly around the shores of the loch. Loch Creran is a seven mile sea loch and is protected as a Special Area of Conservation by the European Union.
The cottage is located near the small village of Benderloch, which is 20 minutes North of Oban and is less than an hour's drive from Fort William and Glencoe. The village contains all the amenities that the self catering visitor will need, including a licensed general store, cafe and restaurant. There are a variety of marked walking trails around the cottage and cycle routes are within easy reach. In front of the cottage is a shingle beach which is perfect for launching kayaks, canoes and sailboards.
Rooms Description
Seabank has a large fully equipped fitted kitchen, open plan to the dining area. There are 5 bedrooms - 2 double and 3 twin rooms, 1 bathroom with corner bath and separate shower and another shower room. One of the double bedrooms is downstairs with adjacent w.c. and wash hand basin. The house also has a front porch. Outside there is ample parking and a paved patio area with garden furniture and barbecue. The large comfortable lounge has wood burning stove, satellite television & music centre.
Specialities
Visitors to the cottage have access to some of the facilties of the nearby Isle of Eriska Hotel by prior arrangement. You will be met personally by the owner. Tea, coffee and home-baking on arrival. Winter guests arrive to a cosy wood burning stove.

Directions
From Glasgow take A82 to Tyndrum via Crianlarich. Follow A85 towards Oban until village of Connel. Turn left onto A828 signposted Fort William and go over Connel bridge. Continue for 3 miles to Benderloch village. Take road on your left signposted Tralee and South Shian. Stay on this single track road for 2 miles and go straight on at the crossroads (signed Isle of Eriska and Barcaldine Castle). With the sea on your right, Seabank is the large white house on your left.
