Situated in the village of Sandhead on the shores of Luce Bay, Ginger Tom's is within arms length of a beautiful mile long sandy beach and has breathtaking views accross the bay. The spectaculer scenery of the Galloway Forest is but a short drive and the many beautiful gardens and places of historic interest on the doorstep make this a holiday destination to suit all tastes. There are three excellent golf courses and many outdoor activities from paint ball to pony trekking. For walking, sea fishing and bird watching this area is hard to beat. Port Logan, where the TV series " Two Thousand Acres of Sky" was filmed and the renowned Logan Botanic Garden are just six miles away. The town of Stranraer, just seven miles away is home to the Stenna Line ferry which makes regular trips to Ireland for further sightseeing.

Secure parking at the rear of the property. Patio area with garden furniture. A cot and high chair are available upon request when booking. Bed linen and tea towels are provided. Electricity is charged by meter reading. Shop opposite and restaurant nearby, tearooms 200yds.

Rooms Description

On the ground floor you will find the lounge with satellite TV, DVD/CD player and remote controlled wall mounted fire. The kitchen/diner has an integrated oven/hob, washer/dryer and fridge with integral freezer. The bathroom has a heated towel warmer and shower over the bath. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Electic storage heating with panel heaters in the bedrooms.
