Luxury self catering cottages in stunning 18th century Kinmount castle & estate, swimming pool, gym

Kinmount Leisure holiday cottages and apartments are set in three acres of stunning gardens on the Kinmount Castle and estate. The estate has a history dating back around 800 years and has been visited by many kings, queens, playwrights and poets. Guests of the cottages have access to salmon and trout fishing on various beats of many local rivers, including the river Nith and river Annan. We also offer professional fly casting tuition, falconry and hawking days and clay pigeon shooting with tuition.

Kinmount's beautiful aviary was one of the first ever built in Europe and is currently occupied by various hawks. Kinmount leisure has access to over 25,000 acres of woodland and moorland available for game shooting. The area has facilities to suit all types of angler including river, still water, sea and coarse fishing. Clay shooting is also available locally at a site just 20 minutes drive from the estate.

Rooms Description

The cottages sleep between two and six people and most feature a master bedroom with four poster bed and en-suite bathroom. Each is equipped with TV with satellite, video machine, CD player and radio. Kitchens are fully equipped with fridge, oven, hob, toaster, microwave, clothes washer/dryer and dishwasher.
