The peaceful country retreat of Ravenstone Cottage is set in 14 acres of woodland. Ravenstone Cottage and Ravenstone Stables each sleep 4 but can be rented together for large groups. Guests share a large, verdant garden wandered by pet ducks and free range chickens. The BBQ, garden furniture and woods make the place even more perfect. You can also enjoy a day out at a family run organic farm in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland. Join a farm tour, spot wildlife, enjoy local & ethical food, indulge in an ice cream sundae and let off steam in a natural adventure playground built for adults & kids.

Close to beaches, quiet roads for cycling and plenty of bird watching in our own garden, this offers an ideal base to explore the western areas of Dumfries and Galloway on Scotland's southwest coast. There are dozens of sheltered sandy beaches and great days out for kids nearby, excellent fishing, 4 golf courses within 30 min's drive, hill walking and cycling. Young or old there is something for everyone. Laggan Outdoor Activity centre is set on the stunning Galloway coastline. The Activity centre can offer Outdoor Activity Holidays or individual Outdoor Activities. The Farm Park nestles against Mabie Forest and covers an area of over forty acres. Among the many attractions at the Farm Park there is a Dirt Buggy Track, a Grass Sledging Slope, Pedal Go Karts, a Boating Pond, lots of animals and a 5000 square foot Indoor Playbarn, these are only a few of our many attractions at the park.

Rooms Description

Each cottage sleeps 4 for a total of 8, and features a well-stocked modern kitchen with microwave, cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, high chair available. The living rooms have wood stoves, tv/dvd, games and south facing views into the garden. One twin and one double bedroom, with cot available. The family bathroom has shower over bath. Rates are per week and include electricity, bedding and towels. Fuel for stoves/heating is charged according to usage on departure.
