Achnadrish House is a four star country house offering bed and breakfast in a seventeenth century hunting lodge on the Island of Mull. Achnadrish lies at the north end of Mull and is surrounded by woodland gardens, hidden amongst trees and moorland at the head of the valley that opens out to Loch Frisa. The Isle of Mull is famed for its deserted sandy beaches, old woodlands and fertile sheltered valleys where waterfalls tumble over mossy rocks. Start the day with a hearty breakfast in our dining room before heading out to explore the delights of the island.

Michael Story has refurbished and decorated the hotel in keeping with its traditional style and both he and his team are only too happy to help with advice about exploring Mull, where to eat and what to see and what's happening. You are welcome to relax in the Sitting Room which has a log fire surrounded by a fine Georgian chimneypiece (Also TV, etc). Outside the window you'll often see a great variety of birds, including, recently, the famous Mull Sea Eagles, which nest less than a mile from Achnadrish.
