3 secluded self catering holiday chalets on the shores of Loch Feochan, just five miles south of Oban. The chalets lie on a boatyard and 200 acre stock farm.

Ardoran Marine is a boatyard five miles south of Oban on Loch Feochan, on Scotland's beautiful rugged West coast. The area is easily reached in two to three hours by road or rail from Glasgow and Oban is the main ferry terminal to the Western Isles. The boatyard is home to three self catering holiday homes and lies on a small hill farm of around 200 acres, breeding Highland cattle and sheep. The Rock of the Dead lies at the southern end of the loch and is where, centuries ago, the Kings of Scotland were carried out across the Firth of Lorn to their last resting place on Iona. The loch itself is home to otters, seals, heron and buzzards.

The three chalets are secluded and private and stand on the shores of the loch, with fabulous views. They stand among five acres of woodland reserved for the sole use of the occupants with a bird/nature lookout. Ardoran Marine is the only boatyard situated on peaceful Loch Feochan. The buoyed channel out to sea opens up to the Firth of Lorn at the South end of the Island of Kerrera. The Sound of Mull and Loch Linnhe are easily accessible to the North and heading South to the Garvellochs, the Sound of Luing to the islands of Jura and Islay.

Rooms Description

All chalets are well equipped with microwave, cooker, fridge/freezer, television, DVD player and all bed linen. A washing machine and tumble dryer are made available for guests in a separate laundry block. The three bedroomed 'Seal' chalet has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom and sleeps up to six people. 'Otter' chalet had a double bedroom & twin bedroom which are both en-suite & sleeps up to four people. The two bedroomed 'Heron' chalet has one double and one twin room with additional sleeping on a sofa bed in the living area. This property sleeps up to five people.
