Kilnpotlees self catering cottage enjoys a secluded location yet is easily accessible from the M74/M6 motorway and is just four miles from Lockerbie. The cottage has been awarded three stars by the Scottish Tourist Board and is situated in the beautiful Dumfriesshire countryside. The cottage's elevated position makes this the ideal spot for taking in the magnificent views. There are an abundance of activities available in the local area including walking, cycling, country sports, golf and touring. We are only too happy to arrange country sports for you, should you require.

Kilnopotlees is a charming home from home and the south facing sitting room benefits from a large picture window. The dining table and chairs are positioned in front of the view, guaranteeing you spectacular scenery as you dine. The sitting room is well equipped with comfortable seating, tlelvision, a CD HiFi and a selection of books, magazines and some board games. The fully fitted kitchen looks out over the garden and has everything you will need, including a fridge freezer, micorwave and electric cooker.

Specialities

We welcome one well behaved dog (please ask about other pets). We operate a strict no smoking policy. Fresh, home-made loaves, meals and cakes etc., can be made to order. You can also purchase home-made marmalade, fruit and vegetables (when in season) and free range eggs.
