Auchingoul Log Cabin sleeps 6 and is a luxury self catering Finnish log cabin set in 2 1/2 acres.

Auchingoul Bothy is ideal for two people and is also available on a bed and breakfast basis.

This is a very beautiful part of Scotland, and we are rural but not too far from the towns.

Tastefully Decorated Self Catering Properties Enjoying Superb Views Over Deveron Valley.

We have three types of holiday accomodation, the Cottage, the Log Cabin and the Bothy. We are located in the North East of Scotland, an area of the country often referred to as the forgotten part. The properties enjoy a rural location yet are not too far from towns like Huntly, Turriff, Banff, Elgin and nearby fishing villages.

The cottages are ideal for walking, cycling, surfing, following the Whisky Trail or the Castle Trail, exploring rugged coastline, visiting pretty fishing villages, salmon and trout fishing, pony trekking, golf, visiting National Trust for Scotland properties - and even skiing, which is within one hour’s drive.

Rooms Description

Auchingoul Cottage was originally the old farm worker's cottage and is now a luxury fully equipped holiday cottage with everything you need in it. It houses one twin and one master double bedroom. Auchingoul Log Cabin is a luxury fully equipped self catering Finnish log cabin, set in two and a half acres of private wood overlooking the River Deveron. The cabin sleeps six. Auchingoul Bothy has one bedroom with twin beds, a bathroom with walk-in shower, and open plan kitchen/diner with a log burner. Outside there is a walled garden patio with garden furniture, and beautiful views overlooking the River Deveron. The Bothy is also available on a bed and breakfast basis.

Specialities

Towels and linen included. Fully centrally heated. Logs provided for woodburner. Home cooked snacks by arrangement (with Food Hygiene Certificate). Sorry, no smoking inside properties. Pets by arrangement.
