On a beautiful loch side location overlooking Loch Glencoul, are ideally situated for exploring Assynt and the north west of Scotland.

Unapool House Cottages are located on a beautiful loch side setting near Kylesku on the north coast of Scotland. This scenic area of the highlands is 86 miles north of Inverness and 30 miles north of Ullapool. The cottages are set in private grounds against the stunning backdrop of Loch Glencoul, and are furnished to high standards, heating is provided by solid fuel burning stoves in the lounge and electric heating throughout. Quinag cottage has a large double bedroom. Glendhu and Glencoul cottages each have a double and single bedroom.

These cottages are ideal for that "get away from it all" holiday. They are ideally situated for exploring Assynt and the whole of the north west of Scotland. Durness, Lochinver, Ullapool and Lairg are all easily within one hour's drive. Head north over the famous Kylesku Bridge and you will soon arrive at the beautiful lonely beaches of Oldshoremore, Sandwood Bay, Balnakiel and Durness. Visit Smoo Cave, Cape Wrath, and the bird sanctuary on Handa Island. Enjoy a boat trip from Kylesku to see the seals and Britains's highest waterfall, Eas Coul Aulin.

Directions

The cottages are situated on Loch Glencoul on the NW coast of Scotland about 85 miles north of Inverness and 30 miles north of Ullapool. After Inverness follow the A9 north then take the A835 to Ullapool at the Tore roundabout. From Ullapool continue on the A835 to Ledmore. Then take the A837 to Inchnadamph. Two miles after Inchnadamph turn right onto the A894 towards Kylesku for about six miles. The coottages are on the right 200yards past the sign for Unapool.
