Janevale is a traditional semi detached house conveniently located within walking distance of Kircudbright town centre, harbour and amenities. Kircudbright is known as an artists town and is a town of historical and cultural interest. There is the Tolbooth Arts Centre, the Stewartry Museum and numerous galleries and the harbour is still used by fishing boats, whilst the marina caters for recreational sailing craft.

The house is well placed for golfers, walkers, cyclists and garden lovers as there are many beautiful gardens within easy reach. The house itself has a secluded sunny garden suitable for playing or relaxing and has garden furniture. The cottage is comfortably furnished throughout and the sitting room has a TV, video, DVD, games and books for visitors' use. The kitchen is compact but well equipped and opens out onto the patio and garden.
