Tannery Wynd is superbly situated in the heart of the picturesque village of the Gatehouse of Fleet. The location of the self catering apartment makes this the ideal base for fishing, cycling, golf and walking or just simply relaxing in this beautiful unspoiled part of Scotland. Hills, forests and nearby beaches which have been captured by many local artists provide the perfect backdrop to your ideal holiday.

The towns of Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas are within a half hour's drive east of the town whilst driving west will bring you to the local centre for the book trade, Wigtown. Close to the accommodation there are smaller convenience stores whilst larger supermarkets can be found in Kircudbright and Castle Douglas. A wide range of gifts, together with paintings by local artists,may be purchased in the craft/gift shops in the village. There are also a number of local eateries within walking distance of the flat.
