The kitchen has all that the visitor will need, including a washing machine and ironing facilities.Balvallioch is a charming shepherd's cottage sleeping four people in two bedrooms on Suisgill, a Highland Estate. The cottage is totally private and enjoys stunning views of the Helmsdale River. The estate is one of the most beautiful in Scotland and guests are welcome to walk, cycle, bird watch and pan for gold at Baile an Or, the site of the 1869 Kildonan Gold Rush.
There is much to see and do in and around the estate, wherever you interests lie. Brown trout, salmon and sea fishing are all available-should you require further details please contact us. Walking and cycling opportunities abound on the esate though we do ask that those who visit in August consult with the keeper during August to avoid conflict with the red deer stalkers. Highland crafts can be found at Strath Ullie Craft Shop and the Helmsdale Mosaic Workshop.
