A Luxury Timber Lodge In a Scenic Area Of Dumfries And Galloway, Sleeping a Maximum Of Six People.

Oakwood Lodge is a luxury American timber lodge set amongst stunning scenery in the heart of the Dumfries and Galloway countryside. Throughout the year the lodge looks out over the ever changing landscape of the Solway Firth and the distant Lake District. The lodge is situated on a family run farm in a secluded woodland setting and is the perfect getaway for those seeking to return to the great outdoors.

The lodge is of a unique design and built from solid pine logs. Patio doors lead on to a timber veranda with seats and a teak table and chairs where you can enjoy the trabquil surroundings. Inside, the lounge area has a commanding view over the Solway Firth and is equipped with comfortable sofas, digital TV, DVD player, books, radio and stereo CD. The kitchen has electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a dining table with sleeping for six.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an en-suite shower room. There are two further twin bed rooms and a large bathroom.

Specialities

One well behaved dog is welcome but must not be allowed in the bedrooms and must be kept on a lead in the grounds. For the comfort of all our guests we operate a non-smoking policy. A discount is available when more than one week is booked. Free range eggs, asparagus, strawberries and new potatoes are available from the farm when in season.
