Three Luxurious Self Catering Farm Cottages In Carradale On The Picturesque Peninsula Of Kintyre

Three luxurious self catering cottages in the fishing village of Carradale on the peninsula of Kintyre. This remote peninsula has much to offer the visitor, including a selection of walks, golf and sea trips. The islands of Arran, Gigha, Islay and Colonsay are just a short ferry trip away from the cottage. In nearby Campbelltown visitors will find the Aqualibrium, a prize winning indoor pool where you can enjoy a swim whilst looking out at the views over Campbeltown Loch.

Carradale itself has a quaint fishing harbour and a lovely south facing beach. There is a good selection of places to eat and fresh seafood is a speciality. The village has three inviting bars, each offering an excellent selection of food, plenty of oppotunity to go out and have the food cooked for you! Whether you are seeking a relaxing break or an active outdoor holiday, Kintyre has something to offer everyone.

Rooms Description

Mhairis Cottage is a delightful traditional property sleeping four in one double bedroom and a bunk bedroom for kids. The cottage has been completely redecorated throughout although the cottage retains its original character with some unashamedly old fashioned furnishings. The view from the back door looks out over the fields and the golden sands of Carradale Bay. Colin's Cottage and Douglas Cottage each comprise of a large bed/sitting room with integral kitchen. In the living area guests will find a colour TV, video and music centre and there are plenty of books and maps to browse through. Douglas Cottage has a dear little wood-burning stove - which makes it particularly popular in the low season, while Colin's Cottage has a nice south facing garden.
