A selection of five star self catering cottages situated in the heart of Lanarkshire in the Scottish countryside near the historic towns of Biggar and Lanark. Muirhall farm has been regenerated and the farm and outbuildings have been transformed into these charming luxury cottages. The town of Biggar is a thriving border town with a range of amenities including a park, golf course, tennis courts and putting green. There are Italian, Chinese, Indian and traditional restaurants and hostelries within the town as well as a dozen country hotels within a short distance.

The cottages themselves have lots to offer in terms of amenities. There is a sauna, putting green, mountain bikes and garden barbecue for your use. There is a DVD library for your use during your stay, daily dish washing is available and laundry can be arranged on a 24 hour return. A gourmet chef can be arranged as can a car and driver. A welcome basket is provided for your arrival. Each cottage is equipped with remote control veluxe windows, en-suite facilities, fully equipped kitchens, satellite TV and DVD music.

Rooms Description

The Shire has two double bedrooms and can comfortably accomodate four people. The Hayloft has two double bedrooms and again can comfortably accomodate four people. The Ruin sleeps four people in one double and one twin. The Byre sleeps two people in one double and has a 'children's door' that leads out onto the barbecue area.

Specialities

Pets by arrangement. Pets are not allowed on beds or sofas; however we are happy to provide all necessary bedding to ensure that your pet is well looked after. Our welcome basket awaits you on arrival.
