Every lounge is equipped with TV, DVD and CD player for your entertainment.Port Charlotte Hall is situated in the heart of the picturesque conservation village of Port Charlotte on the Isle of Islay, the Queen of the Hebrides. The Hall was built in 1832 and has previously served as the village school and the village hall. The building has now been symapthetically restored to offer three luxury self catering apartments with separate encosed gardens to the rear.
Islay has some of the finest unspoiled beaches in the country and most are reaonably accessible. Not to be missed are Ardnave, Saligo and Machir Bay at Kilchoman. There is a fine coffee shop and visitor centre at Kilchoman Distillery close to Machir Bay. On the other side of the island is Big Strand-approximately seven miles of sand. Rockside Farm arranges horse-riding for all levels of ability-including a beach trek, which is highly recommended.
Each apartment is distinct from the others and has its own entrance. In each apartment all bedrooms are en-suite, there is a family bathroom, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave oven, television, DVD and CD player.
Bedding and towels are provided, but not beach towels. Guests are advised that all houses are non-smoking and we regret that pets are not allowed.
