Bed & Breakfast - Special Offer - stay for 7 nights pay for 6Lochhouse Farm is situated on the Southern Upland Way and nestles beside the River Evan in the South of Scotland, close to the tourist town of Moffat. There is a delightful courtyard, steading and stone built farmhouse set in nine acres of land. We hope that Lochhouse Farm will be a place where individuals, couples, families and groups can come to 'recharge their batteries'. It is our dream to redevelop the Farm into a residential holiday centre offering more accommodation, cottage and communal, recreation facilities and programmed events, all accessible to the disabled and able-bodied alike.
It has always been on our mind that Lochhouse Farm should be a Christian Retreat Centre along with the being a holiday retreat to for people who need 'time out and space apart' from their busy working lives. For this reason we are developing Lochhouse Farm to be able to accommodate Christian Retreats and small conferences along with our B&B and self catering accommodation.
We have two rooms available to receive up to six guests. Each room is equipped with colour TV and beverage facilities. There is also a TV lounge in which guests can relax in front of the wood burning stove. Bedroom two is an accessible twin room with wheelchair accessible bathroom with floor level shower and seat for the less able. There is Galleried space with library and the potential for arts & craft work and themed weekends. The downstairs area has kitchenette & toilet with enough open space for accommodating a small conference.
