Welcome to Givendale Guest House located in Portree on the Isle of Skye. This fine location means we are the perfect place from which to take in all the beauty, tranquillity and calm that Skye has to offer. Our B&B is within walking distance from Portee centre, the largest town on the Island. It enjoys scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Fresh fish is still caught daily from its busy harbour and can be sampled in the local restaurants. We are also the perfect location from which to explore the rest of the island. Why not pay a visit to Dunvegan Castle, Flora McDonald's memorial or Duntulm Castle? We provide brochures in all our rooms so you're sure to find something to interest you! We can also provide itineraries combining sightseeing tours with short walks. For the more adventurous, the surrounding hills offer excellent walks, but please don't forget to bring your boots and waterproofs! Cyclists are well catered for, try the Trotternish Peninsula Circuit, which offers fantastic views. Portee offers a public swimming pool, a fitness centre, cycle hire, pony trekking, various gift and craft shops as well as as many restaurants and bars.

We have a variety of rooms available; Two double bedrooms with ensuite, one family room with ensuite, one double room and one twin room. Our beds are all of high quality to help you enjoy a restful nights sleep, especially important if you are hill walking! Hairdryers are provided in all rooms as are tea and coffee making facilities. We offer you a delicious cooked or continental breakfast to set you up for the day. We regret that pets are not permitted and we operate a no smoking policy throughout the house.
