Balcarres Bed and Breakfast is set in Fort William in the beautiful West Highlands of Scotland. Balcarres is set in an elevated position in a quiet residential cul-de-sac and commands spectacular views over Loch Linnhe and the Morven Hills. Here you can enjoy the best of both worlds, a tranquil location just a fifteen minute stroll to Fort William by the shores of Loch Linnhe, views of which can be admired from the balcony at the front of the house.

Fort William is one of Scotland's most popular destinations and has something to offer everyone, whether you are seeking outdoor activities or a relaxing holiday amongst some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain. Ben Nevis and Glen Nevis, the location for films such as Braveheart and Rob Roy are nearby. The ever popular Loch Ness is just 25 miles away where you can visit the Loch Ness monster exhibition or take a cruise on the loch itself.

We have one twin, one double and one family room on offer. Each en-suite room is equipped with a colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. All of our bedrooms are on the ground floor, but please be aware that the dining room is up a flight of steps.
