Welcome to Ardoch Lodge, right in the heart of Scotland. We have two log cabins and a cottage available for self catering holidays, surrounded by 12 acres of spectacular scenery in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our Silver Green Tourism awarded property is the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. Our accommodation is south facing with spectacular views of the nearby hills, swathed in forest, seen against a backdrop of the more distant and rugged peaks of Ardnadave and Ben Vane. We are within easy reach of lochs, gardens, castles, museums, antique and craft shops. Golf, fishing, cycling and boat trips are all on offer along with much more! The whole family is catered for here at Ardoch Lodge.

Our log cabins are set in a wooded area some distance from the main house and are the perfect place to relax and unwind after a hard days walking in the spectacular countryside! Our cottage has been converted from the old stables and offers you a warm welcome after a busy day. Our land is full of local wildlife. Deer, red squirrels, eagles, ravens, great spotted woodpeckers and buzzards can all be spotted! Pets are more than welcome at Ardoch Lodge, indeed our establishment has been described as a dogs paradise by more than one of our customers!

Rooms Description

Our log cabins and cottage are furnished and equipped to the highest standard. They are well heated, making them comfortable all year round. Each accommodates four and has two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and a kitchen area with a picnic table outside. Freezer, fridge, microwave oven, colour TV, video recorder, hi-fi, hairdryer are provided in addition to the basic equipment. They are serviced before you arrive, beds made up and towels provided.

Specialities

You and your dogs will receive a warm welcome at Ardoch Lodge and they can stay free of charge! There are walks within the grounds, along the river bank and through the woods in between. For the larger dog and fitter owner there is abundant walking in the immediate vicinity mainly through Forestry Commission woodlands onto the hills or along the loch sides. We are well away from the main road, access to the property is via a minor road (single track with passing places) so there is little traffic to worry about. Ample car parking is available next to the log cabins and cottage. Unfortunately we have no disabled access.
