Prestwick is possibly one of the most accessible towns in Scotland and, in addition to the airport, ferries to the Western isles and Ireland leave from Troon just five miles away.

Th town of Ayr is just five minutes away by bus and has a cinema, theatre, race course and pubs, bars and restaurants. The town is Scotland's oldest baronial burgh and dates back more than a thousand years, so there are plenty of historical places of interest in the vicinity.
