We enjoy full gas central heating throughout for those who choose to visit during the colder months.The Dalmore is run by a husband and wife team and offers a home from home atmosphere. The guest house is located in Dumfries and there is much to see and do around the town and wider area. Explore the town of Dumfries or visit the birthplace of Robbie Burns or one of the area's many historic castles and churches. Dumfries has plenty of walks, great wildlife and a host of opportunities for the keen golfer and fishing enthusiast. This part of Scotland is perfect for mountain bikers, whether you like rides around the countryside or more strenuous routes.
Before setting out on a day's exploration start the day with a hearty breakfast in our dining room. We are only too happy to provide packed lunches for your days out, simply let us know the day before. If you are venturing further afield, we can also arrange for an early breakfast. Your comfort is our priority and the house is fully centrally heated throughout for those who choose to visit during the colder months.
We have a choice between double and twin rooms, some of which are en-suite. All prices include breakfast.
Packed lunches are available by arrangement. For the comfort and safety of all of our guests the accomodation is non smoking throughout.

We are only 5 minutes away from Dumfries Station.If you are coming from the Town along the Whitesands turn right into Buccleuch St follow the road round to Church Crescent to traffic lights over first set then turn right at Lovers Walk follow this road until the next set of traffic lights then turn left into St Mary's Street over the roundabout and keep to the left and onto Moffat Road.
