Two charming self catering cottages enjoying a beautiful rural location on a small farm on the edge of the Galloway hills. The cottages are just five miles from Dumfries and the wonderful Solway coast. The farm consists of 36 acres of organic grass fields, wetlands, trees and gardens and we work with a wider view of the environment. on the farm there is an abundance of wild birds as well as free range hens, geese, rheas and pedigree cattle & sheep in the fields.

There is much to see and do in this wonderful part of south west Scotland. Nearby there are thick forests, heathery hills, sandy beaches, cliffs with secre caves and lots of country walks and cycle routes, including the famous 7 Stanes mountain biking route in Dalbeattie forest. Here there truly is something for everyone, whether you are looking for a relaxing country break or are an outdoor sports enthusiast.

Rooms Description

Stable Cottage is a beautifully converted stable with a balcony double bedroom perched over the living and kitchen areas, ideal for couples the cosy lounge has a colour TV, wood burning stove and central heating for your entertainment and comfort. Bothy Cottage is suitable for families & can sleep 2 adults & 2 children if required. It is available on a self catering or bed and breakfast basis and is a suite of ground floor rooms that has comfortable lounge and a well equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs.
