B&B In The Centre Of Edzell 1850s Cottage Offering Friendly Hospitality In Comfortable Accommodation

The Negara provides friendly bed and breakfast accommodation in the centre of the delightful village of Edzell, Angus. The village has much to offer including a coffee shop, ice cream shop, post office, grocers and gift shop and, for our younger visitors, a park with swings and picnic areas. Edzell Castle is just a quarter of a mile from the property and is well worth a visit. Walkers and cyclists are welcome and there is a drying area for the wet outdoor gear.

The village is superbly located in a rural area at the foot of the glens and there are an abundance of walks within easy reach, including a river walk along the North Esk (only 2 minutes from Negara's door). Salmon fishing is also available on the river, though a licence is needed. There is a nine and eighteen hole golf course nearby, perfect for those who enjoy a round. Before heading out to explore the sights, enjoy a full cooked breakfast in our spacious dining room, what better way to start the day? There are two Hotels one at each end of the village offer good bar lunches and evening meals, and are 200 yards for Negara.
