A nineteenth century farmhouse with attached bungalow offering bed and breakfast accommodation close to Forfar. The accommodation is situated on the West Mains of Turin, a family run stock farm in an elevated position with panoramic views of Rescobie Loch. The accommodation is centrally situated making this the ideal base for a touring holiday. The stunning coastline, Angus Glens, standing stones at Aberlemno and the ancient priory at Restenneth all lie within easy reach.

If outdoor pursuits are your thing then the area around the West Mains of Turin will not disappoint. Fishing is available locally on the Rivers North and South Esk and golf courses can be found nearby at Forfar, Letham Grange, Brechin, Montrose, Edzell and Kirriemuir. This area of Scotland is steeped in history and there are numerous houses and castles to be found in the area including Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, House of Dun and Fasque House.

Rooms Description

We have a choice of double, single/double and family rooms with private facilities available in the farmhouse. In addition to this there is the adjoining bungalow where guests will find a double and a twin room overlooking the loch. A further bedroom with en-suite facilities is suitable for the disabled.
