Clearview is a modern family run bed and breakfast providing accomodation of the highest standard in a peaceful elevated location enjoying panoramic views of Loch Erisort and the Harris Hills. Balallan is on the A859. 15 miles from Stornoway and 24 miles from Tarbert, which makes it the ideal location for exploring the sandy beaches and many places of interest in Lewis and Harris. The local lochs offer fresh water fishing and the surrounding area provides various routes for scenic walks.

The Western Isles stand at the North West edge of Europe and is a haven for outdoor activities and a great place to unwind. The fresh water and sea lochs are unsurpassable in their beauty and abundance and provide a great resource for fishermen and bird life. Boat trips from the islands offer the opportunity to spot whales, dolphins, seals or puffins. Lewis is the largest of the islands and the main town of Stornoway surprises most first time visitors as it has all the amenities and industry of a small mainland town, as well as a lively and vibrant social scene, especially at the weekends!
