Historic Victorian Highland Lodge Set In 2 Acres Of Landscaped Gardens Above The River Spean

Spean Lodge Country House offers bed and breakfast accommodation in an historic highland lodge in the picturesque village of Spean Bridge, nine miles from Fort William. The house is set in large wooded grounds with extensive lawns above the River Spean. The accommodation is superbly placed for touriing the Highlands and Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, is just fifteen minute's drive away. The surrounding area enjoys a reputation for outdoor activities including hill walking, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, golf and wildlife watching.

Before heading out to explore the surrounding country, start the day with a delicious breakfast in our unspoilt Victorian dining room. All breakfasts are prepared using Scottish produce wherever possible and vegetarian options are available. Our large and comfortable guest lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day's sightseeing or hill walking. Should you be visiting during the winter months you can toast your toes by the log fire.

Rooms Description

We offer three charming and well appointed en-suite rooms. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom. All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV, radio alarm and hair dryer.

Specialities

A drying room is available for boots and outdoor gear and there is secure storage for skis and mountain bikes. Well behaved children are welcome. Packed lunches are available by prior arrangement. Sorry, we are unable to accept pets other than guide dogs.
