Shantron Farm bed and breakfast is an excellent base from which to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Set on a working farm in a stunning natural location with spectacular countryside to all sides, this B&B offers a haven of tranquility in the great outdoors. This is a true Scottish working farm and you are welcome to watch during the hustle and bustle of the busy lambing and shearing periods. However, if you are feeling really fit, you may wish to join the farmer for a long hill walk as they gather the sheep or just simply relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility a highland farm has to offer.

Shantron Farm B&B is wonderfully located to visit places like Inveraray - Castle and Jail, Stirling to see the Wallace Monument (Braveheart) and Castle, Aberfoyle - the Sheep and Wool Centre and the magnificent scenery of the Trossachs. There are 2 Hotels in Luss and there are many good eating places within an 8 mile radius. A choice of en-suite rooms are available to guests comprising of family, twin and double rooms. All are well equipped with tea and coffee making, radio alarm and welcome home baking. There is ample parking and use of hairdryer, iron and board and trouser press. Outdoor BBQ and drying room are also available for guests use.

Rooms Description

We offer 3 en suite bedroom in the B&B. Our Loch View room can be arranged as a double or family room with double bed and adult sized bunk beds. The Hill View can also be arranged as a double or family room with double and 1 single bed. Our Garden View room can be arranged as a twin or family room with 3 single beds and adult sized bunk beds. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities with home baking and a radio alarm.

There is ample parking in the spacious garden Garden furniture and a Barbeque for your use. Drying cupboard for coats, boots, etc. There is a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and trouser press for your use.
