Balsporran Cottages Bed & Breakfast offers well presented, comfortable holiday accommodation close to Dalwhinnie and is a great base for rambling in the Drumochter Hills, spotting the local wildlife and enjoying the stunning, unique views of the Scottish Highlands. Ideally located on the Perthshire/ Inverness-shire border, Balsporran is located in the wild Drumochter Pass in the Cairgorm National Park within 30 minutes of many of the area's natural and historic attractions including Blair House, one of the most visited historic houses in Scotland.
The generously sized rooms at the Balsporran Cottages beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and warm, fluffy duvets. The luxurious and spacious guest lounge has a real log fire and there is also a drying room available for wet coats and boots. Optional evening meals are available which are made from local organic produce with home baked bread & preserves. A traditional Scottish breakfast is served at a time to suit you with Scottish smoked salmon, cheese and Croissants available. Well behaved dogs are welcome at the bed & breakfast.

We are 200 yards from the Sustran Cycle Route (no 7), perfectly placed for cyclists. We are situated off the A9 , four miles south of Dalwhinnie. We are between lay-bys 84 & 85. We share the same postcode as Dalwhinnie village, so if you use your sat nav that's where you'll end up!
