The Victorian Town House bed and breakfast is situated on Eglington Crescent in the elegant and historic West End of Edinburgh. The Crescent overlooks beautiful tree lined gardens and has the spires of St Mary's Cathedral as a back drop. We are conveniently situated within walking distance of Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and the theatres and art galleries of this most wonderful of cities.

Haymarket Train Station is located only a few minutes walk from the house and provides excellent travel links to the rest of Scotland. In addition, Edinburgh International Airport is only a 20 minute drive and easily accessible by taxi or bus. This property was once the home of David Alan Stevenson one of the famous family of lighthouse engineers and the cousin to the author Robert Louis Stevenson. David's daughter, the renowned authoress Dorothy Emily Stevenson was born in the house.
