At Violet Bank House we offer a relaxed, quiet and unobtrusive service and previous guests have said that they feel right at home. Reta, the owner, was the AA friendliest Landlady finalist for 2007. We are superbly located just ten minutes drive from the airport and one mile from Heriot Watt University and the City Bypass linking to all motorways. The guest house lies on a bus route with buses to the city centre running every ten minutes.

Attention to detail is the essence. We offer wireless internet connection, beds that you won't want to get out of, films to watch, short stories to read and complimentary drinks by the open fire or in the beautiful garden. Start off the day with our healthy and hearty breakfast including fresh fruit and a choice of cooked options. All guests are offered afternoon tea in the lounge or garden on arrival, or refreshments as required.
