Bealeach is now the only surviving house in what was the hamlet of Sachlan Glen, the ruins of which can be visited just a short walk from the house. The house began life as a shepherd's croft and has been slowly extended over the years to become the large, comfortable and characterful guest house it is today. The house is surrounded by extensive grounds where guests are welcome to wander and enjoy the panoramic views of the glen and loch.
After a day spent in the great outdoors relax in our spacious and comfortable lounge where you will find a wood burning stove for the colder months. Here you will find a range of books and games for your entertainment in the evening. Hilary has gained a reputation and won much acclaim for her fine cooking and her philosophy is "if it can be made on the premises it is". Dinner is quite a formal affair and comprises of three courses with a choice at each stage. We are not licensed to sell alcohol but guests are welcome to bring their own.
