Sassoon House is a beautiful listed Georgian Town House on the high street of historical Kirkcudbright. The house is named after the water colourist David Sassoon, who lived and worked in the property for most of his adult life. The house is located just 50 yards away from Scotland's only Blue Flag marina and provides the ideal place from which to enjoy the highlights of Kirkcudbright. The area has stunning coastal shores as well as beautifulwalks and plenty of outdoor activities including cycling, golf, fishing, horse-riding and deer spotting.

Breakfast is lovingly prepared by Barry who draws on his vast experience as a head chef in Michelin rated restaurants to produce top quality cuisine for your enjoyment. The emphasis here is on top quality organic local produce and guests are welcome to bring their own wine to dinner. Guests are welcome to relax in the inviting sitting room where you will find wide screen TV with DVD and CD player. There is an eclectic collection of CDs, DVDs and books which you are welcome to enjoy.

The Buchanan Room is a double room with a luxury private bathroom with spa bath and double sink. The Jacob Room is a twin bedded room with en-suite shower room.
