The Scot House Hotel is situated in Kingussie set in the midst of the outstanding natural beauty of the Spey Valley, in the heart of Cairngorm National Park. This charming and romantic hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and is recommended by leading hotel guides including Michelin, AA Hotel Guide, Rough Guide, Travellers' Scotland and many more. The house orignially began life in 1884 as the Manse for Kingussie's Free Presbyterian Church and was converted to a hotel in the 1960s.

The local area abounds with wild life, notablt reindeers, badgers, ospreys and eagles and is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. Whatever your reason for visiting Kingussie, the hotel provides the perfect retreat for your stay. The lounge is the ideal spot for relaxing with a book, game of chess or an aperitif before enjoying a delicious meal in the stylish dining room. In the Spey Bar there is awell stocked gantry, specialising in malt whiskies, some of which are uncommon even in the Highlands.
