The Ferry Inn Hotel at Uig on the Isle of Skye is located in the south west and enjoys panoramic views over the bay towards the Waternish Peninsula. The inn has six wonderful en-suite rooms, comfortable lounge and restaurant serving delicious food. The ferry terminal is situated just a mile away, from where regular services depart for Lochmaddy on Uist and Tarbert on Harris. Our convenient location makes this the ideal stopover for those travelling onwards to the Outer Isles. Uig lies on the Tatternish Peninsula and is well placed for exploring the magnificent scenery of the top end of Skye. There are fabulous walks, castles, art studios and a variety of interesting wildlife to be found locally, including otters, golden eagles and corncrakes.

Exploring the beautiful surrounds is sure to stimulate the appetite and we place great emphasis on good home cooked food in our restaurant. All of the beef used in our dishes is from Scotland and the seafood is sourced from Mallaig, whilst locally grown vegetables are used in the growing season. We are fully licensed and the public bar is ideal for a quiet pint and an old fashioned bar game such as dominos, chess or cards. The lounge bar can be accessed from the hotel and offers a range of malt whiskies in addition to hot beverages.
