Mint Cottage is a traditional cottage in the heart of Kirkcudbright and is conveniently situated on the High Street opposite Broughton House. The town is an artists colony which has flourished since the late 19th Century and the surrounding town houses were occupied by the famous Scottish Colourists.

Kirkcudbright is an attractive and bustling small town with a busy harbour - home to a fleet of scallop boats, a selection of small mainly family run shops where most things can be bought, and surrounded by beautiful farming and coastal countryside. Our section of the north Solway Coast in the South West of Scotland, has many attractive little coves and inlets offering safe bathing and sheltered dingy sailing.
