Phoenix House Luxury B&B - Carbost

A luxury bed and breakfast guest house in Carbost Village overlooking Loch Harport, Isle of Skye

Phoenix House enjoys a cosy setting in Carbost Village on the shores of Loch Harport in the beautiful Isle of Skye. The accomodation is conveniently located and within a few minute's walk visitors will find The Talisker Distillery, a small shop, Post Office and a cosy traditional pub providing tasty meals. The village and pier provide short walks or, for the more adventurous, The Cuillin mountains are a 15 minute drive away!

Phoenix House was originally owned by the Talisker Distillery and was used by the exciseman who ensured the correct duty was paid on whisky produced. We have lived here for the past couple of years and have just undergone extensive refurbishment to provide the b&b accommodation! Chris has attended courses at Nick Nairn's Cookery School on the mainland and prides himself on creating delicious dishes for our guests. Start the day with a hearty breakfast and fresh baked bread before setting out to explore the delights of this magnificent island.
