A beautiful Victorian house offering self catering accommodation in the town of Inveraray

Rudha-Na-Craige House is a beautiful Victorian house in the town of Inveraray on the west coast of Scotland overlooking the picturesque Loch Fyne with its rolling hills backdrop. The house was originally built in 1864 by the Duke of Argyll and was requisitioned during the war years when the Loch shores were used for naval training. Today the house provides luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation to visitors to the area. A cup of tea or coffee awaits you in the sitting room upon your arrival.

Start the day with a meal in the breakfast room with its spectacular loch views. A full cooked Scottish breakfast is offered, or other hot options such as omelette, porridge, or kippers, alongside a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, with a choice of teas, ground coffee and Howard's delicious homemade bread or croissants. There are many good places to eat in Inveraray though we will provide evening meals by arrangement. Relax in the evenings with a good book in front of the wood burning stove in the comfortable guest lounge.

Rooms Description

We have a choice of three elegantly decorated bedrooms. The Cairngorm Suite is extra spacious and has a king size bed and views across Loch Fyne. The Strathmore is a large bedroom tastefully furnished with a king size bed and again has super views across the loch. The Kinglas has a king size bed and views across the loch and garden. All rooms have TV, Radio/Alarm, Hairdryer and Welcome Tray. Free wireless Internet connection is available - if you cannot resist checking your emails.
