Ashcroft Farmhouse offers superior guest house accommodation just outside East Calder, West Lothian, near the heart of Scotland. The property enjoys a peaceful rural location yet is conveniently placed just ten miles from Edinburgh city centre. Guests can avoid the hassle of city centre parking by taking the bus from outside the guest house and be in the city centre within half an hour. There are a range of great golf courses to be found in the local area in addition to many historical sites and of course, the shopping of Edinburgh.

Your hosts, Derek and Elizabeth, have been running the bed and breakfast for 46 years. Elizabeth was awarded second place in the landlady of the year awards in 2005 and Derek regularly performs well in the West Lothian Business Garden of the year for his lovingly tended garden. We offer six en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with colour TVs, hospitality trays and central heating for your comfort. Following a day spent exploring the local area, relax and unwind in the guests' lounge where you will find a TV, DVD and video plus a film library for your enjoyment.Free wireless internet access is also provided.
