Each of the 3, 4, and 5 star properties has a unique ambience. The owners recognise that what suits one family may not tick all the boxes for another, and some guests have a larger budget than others. Or the deciding factor may just be a question of design. The 200 year old Wing offers traditional comfort and has the best garden. Orlege End, in contrast, wows with its contemporary chic and modernity, so much so that the owners have created a special website for this 5 STAR property and this can be accessed from the main Crosswoodhill website. Steading Cottage is a bit like a tardis, small from the outside but amazingly spacious from the inside. The Crosswoodhill website shows all the layouts and tries to give a good flavour of the individuality of each cottage, all within walking distance of one another. With lots of toys, games and books as well as the usual audio-visual stuff, guests feel totally at-home and it can sometimes be difficult to drag children away to enjoy the huge variety of places so easily within reach of Crosswoodhill. All the properties welcome children and pets, two are disabled friendly. Parking is close to the properties with none of the hassles you experience in cities! All sleep up to 6 people each. Bookings generally go from a Saturday to a Saturday but especially over the winter months the rental periods can be more flexible. Credit cards are accepted.
