Dunbius Guest House is a modern property set in pleasant gardens with spectacular views over the Dornoch Firth and Sutherland Mountains beyond. Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds, a peaceful rural setting within easy walking distance of Tain town centre. The Royal Burgh of Tain is the oldest in Scotland and has a historical reputation as a sanctuary and tax haven. Robert Bruce sent his family here in 1306 to keep them safe from the English.

There is much to see and do around the town including the Glenmorangie Distillery, Tain Pottery and golf course. Further afield is Dornoch with its award winning beach, the Falls of Shin with dramatic walks and Dunrobin Castle and Gardens.

We have a family, double, twin and single room available, two of which are on the ground floor. Each room is equipped with hospitality tray, flatscreen TV with Freeview and clock radio. The rooms also have complimentary toiletries to make your stay even more comfortable.

Specialities

We have ample parking for several cars and larger vehicles. Secure facilities are available on-site for guests with cycles and motorbikes. Pets are welcome by arrangement, and Internet access is available for guests.
