4 Self Catering Apartments In a Former 19th Century Inn, Sleeping 2-4 People In Salen, Isle Of Mull

Argyll House is a former inn built in 1803 and has now been extensively refurbished to provide self catering accommodation in four properties, sleeping two to four people. We are centrally situated in the small village of Salen, just ten to fifteen minutes away from the ferry at Craignure or Fishnish, and well placed for touring the island. Although the village is small there are a range of local amenities available including a Spar shop, Post Office, hotel with pub, petrol station and doctor's surgery. The capital of Mull, Tobermory, is just ten miles away and the west coast of the island with its lovely sandy beaches is also within easy reach.

There can be few places to rival this idyllic island for sheer variety of landscapes - peaceful harbours, dramatic mountains, historic castles, crashing waterfalls - it's all here for you to discover. Experience the utter tranquillity of Mull, the ideal place to unwind and enjoy those activities which are so pleasurable; walking, cycling, kayaking, sailing, golfing, fishing, pony-trekking. All these and more can be enjoyed on Mull. If you prefer more leisurely pursuits, trips to Iona, Fingal's Cave (Staffa) and the Treshnish Isles are available. Or discover what Mull is rightly famous for - its wildlife - the magnificent sea eagle and golden eagles, the secretive otter and the amusing seals, or why not join one of the safaris or whale watching trips and really find out about the animals who live here.

Rooms Description

Ben Nore sleeps four people in one twin and one double bedroom. The Byre sleeps two in one double bed. The remaining two properties are studio apartments - Beinn Fhada sleeps two in one double bed and Beinn Talaidh sleeps two in one double bed. The Bothy is a cosy cottage situated in a converted stable at the rear and sleeps four in one double and one twin bedroom. All properties are well equipped and contain fully fitted kitchens with all you might need and colour televisions for your entertainment.
